How Do At-Home Aligners Work?

At-home aligners work by using a series of clear plastic trays that gently shift your teeth into place. The trays are custom-made for you based on impressions of your teeth taken by your dentist. You wear them for a certain amount of time each day (usually around 20 minutes) and then switch to the next tray in the set. Over time, this gentle pressure shifts your teeth into their desired position.

Are Home Teeth Straightening Kits Safe?

The short answer is yes, at-home aligners are safe. They are FDA-approved materials that won't cause irritation to your mouth or gums, and they'll damage or weaken your enamel.
