What Foods Do You Need to Avoid Immediately After Dental Sealants

To prevent the buildup of food in these crevices, you need dental sealants.

Ideally, children should get dental sealants as soon as their permanent molars erupt. Sealants are plastic coatings applied to the molars to prevent cavities by acting as a barrier between the tooth and plaque.

Therefore, dental sealants offer a useful way of restricting the consumption of harmful sugars. While avoiding these foods, you should consume healthy fruits and vegetables to keep your mouth healthy. You should also maintain a regular dental checkup and good oral hygiene.
