Helpful Tips for Simpler Flossing

Posted on 11/8/2021 by Mark Bieber
Helpful Tips for Simpler FlossingWe all have busy lives. There is so much to account for in a day. We wake up, employ a morning routine, eat breakfast if there is time for it, and then our day begins. Each day contains a series of adventures and new experiences, but some routines are essential and take up time. When things take too long, it becomes easy to dread it and even easier to avoid it altogether. Flossing is one such phenomenon, but there are easier ways to floss and maintain that essential health.

Getting Started with Flossing

Choose the right time to floss. This one is easy. Just pick a time to floss, just once a day. The night is most recommended since the plaque you have accumulated over the day can go out all at once. Following choosing the right time, is choosing the right floss. Shell a dollar or two more and get strong and sturdy floss, or get quality floss threaders if you have braces. A quality floss will not break and will not start to wear with just half a pass through.

Floss properly the first time, and you will avoid having to make another run. Watch a short video demonstrating how to properly floss, and avoid the cutting and sawing motion most have adopted. Better still, to save the most time, forgo any floss thread and invest in a water flosser for the easiest and quickest work. Sure the price is steeper, but over time it pays for itself, and surely saves time when compared to hand thread-flossing.

Regardless of what you choose, the main goal is to illustrate that there are more efficient routes to flossing. Some ranging from costless choices like setting up a routine, or shelling out a couple of dollars for a better thread. Finally, there are water flossers that cost a decent chunk of cash, but knock out a solid chunk of work and time. If you have any questions regarding flossing, or better flossing, feel confident to contact our office for more information today.
