The sugar in fruit juices feeds the bacteria in your child's mouth, which then multiply and stick to the teeth. This can lead to tooth decay, tooth sensitivity, and gum disease. However, you are allowed to give your child fruit juices in moderation so that they can get the vitamins they need to keep their bodies healthy and strong.

As mentioned above, fruit juices are a good source of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants, which are good for your child's health. However, the sugar in fruit juices feeds the bacteria in your child's mouth, which then multiply and lead to early oral problems. They can cause tooth decay, cavities, and sensitivity. What Should I Use to Substitute Fruit Juices?

It is not wrong to serve your kids fruit juices, but if their teeth are already damaged due to too much fruit drinks, you can substitute them with other less sugary beverages. For example, you can incorporate milk in some of their fruit drinks to minimize the amount of sugar they contain. Water is also good. Sometimes you do not always have to give your children fruit drinks. Water can be enough. Besides, it will help rinse their mouth and eliminate bacteria present in their mouth.
