Welcome to Toomin & Bieber Aesthetic Comprehensive Dentistry! We value our patients and are excited to meet new patients. Lawrence Toomin, DDS and Mark Bieber, DDS have assembled a fabulous staff to assist you. Our Dental Office Staff and Office Manager are here to help you to schedule your appointments, complete any necessary paperwork, and answer your questions concerning billing or services offered.

We have worked to make your first visit seamless with no hassle. We have done this by creating guidelines that we follow, namely:

Scheduling Appointments
We see patients by appointment only. We have created office hours to accommodate a variety of patient’s needs. When scheduling an appointment, we ask that you make every effort to make that appointment and to be on time. If you are unable to make your appointment, we require at least 48 hours notice to avoid any missed appointment fees. We will likewise make every effort to see you at your scheduled time.

First Patient Visit


Emergencies
Because our business involves the oral health and well-being of people, emergencies may arise. We take our patient’s well-being very seriously and do not wish anyone to be in pain. A patient who is experiencing a dental emergency will take priority in our schedule for the day. This may cause some frustration for our other patients with scheduled appointments, but we ask for your patience, we would pay you the same courtesy when problems arise.

Insurance & Patient Co-payments
For your convenience, we have created relationships with many different insurance providers and Care Credit. To better serve you, submit your insurance information at least two days before your initial appointment, and keep us updated on any changes. By keeping our office staff informed of your insurance, we can provide you with more accurate information concerning your policy and copayments.

If Lawrence Toomin, DDS or Mark Bieber, DDS determine that treatment is needed, we can provide you with a detailed plan, including an estimate of costs and what your insurance will cover before treatment when requested.

We ask that our patients remember that our Professional care is provided to you, our patient, not to an insurance company. Though we are happy to work with your insurance company, in the end, your responsibility for payment is between our office and the patient who received services. The insurance company is not obligated to us, their obligation is between you, the patient and them. The patient is responsible to the doctor.

Financial Policy
To reduce the cost to you, the patient, while maintaining the highest level of professional care, we have established the financial policy as follows:

•  Payment of any account balance is due in full within 20 days of statement date.
•  We have created working relationships with Visa, Discover, American Express, or MasterCard to assist you in making payments.
•  We can provide you with contact information for Care Credit.


Appointments & Consultations
We are happy to assist you in scheduling a second-opinion consultation. It is important to us that our patients are comfortable and fully committed to a recommended course of treatment. We are happy to assist you in getting all available information on treatments completed at Toomin & Bieber Aesthetic Comprehensive Dentistry, as well as options to make your appointments more comfortable.

If you have been referred to our office from another practice, or are seeking a second opinion from us, we require a complete examination by one of our doctors before providing a diagnosis. Please ensure that all available x-rays and chart notes from your prior office have been transferred to us before the scheduled appointment for review. Please note that many offices require 7 – 14 business days to transfer records.
